Ambassad Armchair
Description
The Ambassad Armchair was designed by Swedish designer Mats Theselius in 1999 for Källemo. Its steel frame is available in a range of finishes, offering flexibility in both expression and placement. The chair is upholstered in riveted, vegetable-tanned harness leather from Tärnsjö Garveri and can be ordered in several colors. The seat cushion is padded with molded cold foam for long-lasting comfort.
Theselius originally created the Ambassad Armchair for the Swedish Embassy in Berlin, and its strong reception led to its continued production as part of Källemo’s permanent collection. Combining refined craftsmanship with a distinct architectural presence, Ambassad has become a notable example of Theselius’s ability to merge Scandinavian tradition with contemporary form.
