Description
The Aluminium V.I.P is a armchair designed by Swedish designer Mats Theselius for Källemo. This edition features polished aluminum panels that create a striking contrast with the soft nubuck upholstery in the shade Duet Gold from Sørensen Leather. Its rounded frame is crafted from solid, oil-treated walnut, while the seat uses a Dymetrol suspension system and the backrest is padded with molded cold foam for lasting comfort.
The Aluminium series represents a contemporary reinterpretation of one of Theselius’s signature design concepts — the interplay between metal and leather. The first Aluminium chair was introduced in 1990, six years after Theselius gained international attention with his celebrated Elk Skin Chair. Today, with its industrial character and sculptural presence, the Aluminium has become a sought-after piece among collectors and design enthusiasts worldwide.
