Källemo was founded in 1973 by Sven Lundh in Småland, a region in southern Sweden known for its deep-rooted craftsmanship traditions. From the beginning, Lundh’s vision was to create furniture that transcends mere functionality, aiming for pieces that endure over time — or, in his words, that withstand ‘the wear of the eye’ — both in durability and design.
Today, their designs are used by interior designers worldwide, and many of their limited-edition pieces are highly sought after at auction houses. Still relatively unknown outside its homeland yet a design powerhouse within, Källemo has revolutionized Swedish design by seamlessly merging furniture with art.
