Källemo was founded in 1973 by Sven Lundh in Småland, a region in southern Sweden known for its deep-rooted craftsmanship traditions. From the beginning, Lundh’s vision was to create furniture that transcends mere functionality, aiming for pieces that endure over time—or, in his words, that withstand ‘the wear of the eye’—both in durability and design.
Today, their designs are used by interior designers worldwide, and many of their limited-edition pieces are highly sought after at auction houses. Still relatively unknown outside its homeland yet a design powerhouse within, Källemo has revolutionized Swedish design by seamlessly merging furniture with art.
